How to pass PMP Exam?

PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate became one of the most desired certificates among working professionals for various reasons. Reasons such as academic approach, get more job opportunities, seeking higher job positions or even for the sake of learning.

I have received my PMP certificate back in 2015 after long hours of daily study after my working hours. Here is how you can get this great certificate in most practical way:

1- You must enroll in an institute and get 40 hours of learning hours in order to be able to apply to PMP exam.

2- Time management is vital factor in your PMP exam journey, you will need at least 2 months of learning and you may spend at least 3 hours every day of constant learning about this subject using various tools and techniques that i will talk about in next points:

A- Use PMBOK to read and not to memorize. Memorizing the text book is absolutely useless and it’s a waste of time. Instead, read it twice during the two months of learning and understand its terminologies, tools and techniques.

B- Use online tools that will help you tremendously such as Youtube, articles and online tests. These will help you test your understanding of the PMP exam.

C- There are tremendous books and tests website that can help you in understanding the PMP questions such as (RITA (RMC) PMP exam prep).

D- Training, Training, and Training before the exam by doing full tests at least 3 times.

3- Imagine and analyze the questions of the exam from your real work examples. It will help a lot.

Passing this exam is not easy and i am not saying this to be scared of it rather to make you understand you need to put the time and effort not only to pass it but also to learn and apply what you learn in real life and expand your capabilities to lead your projects in efficient ways rather the traditional ways.
